We’ve caught up with a few old friends in recent weeks.
Former Tomorrow’s World presenter, and keen environmentalist, Philippa Forrester has been a popular choice for events this Autumn, both speaking and chairing conferences for us. She published her latest book Wild Woman earlier in the year, which is already on its second imprint and features empowering stories of women in the who work in nature.
Neil Mullarkey is a fellow force of nature. Originally a comedian and improviser with the legendary Comedy Store Players he has published a number of books, helping people harness improv skills to improve their own communication skills. His latest tome, In the Moment: Build Your Confidence, Communication and Creativity at Work was shortlisted for the Business Book Awards 2024. Meanwhile, the Comedy Store Players are marking their 40th Anniversary with a special performance at Shakespear’s Globe on Tuesday 17th December.
And another recent guest at PA Towers, was Gavin Ramjaun. Gavin’s a regular presenter on BBC Sport having had a storied career in journalism and broadcasting, plus a popular addition to corporate events. Remarkably, we’ve known Gavin for almost 20 years, and in fact JJ even went to his 30th birthday a few years back (Gavin’s now in his 40s…)
