As ever we were out in force at the Edinburgh Fringe, watching over 70 shows between us. There was the usual mix of the good, the bad and the downright surreal, but these were our stand out acts:
Female talent continues to shine through, and there seems to be an ever increasing demand from clients. Two women who particularly caught our attention were Eleanor Tiernan and Olga Koch. Both great comedians, and interestingly they come from science/engineering backgrounds having both studied STEM subjects at University.
Staying with sets informed by academia, Ken Cheng is a professional poker player who studied Maths at Cambridge, while Harry Baker impresses with his word play and poetry driven material.
Moving to the more prosaic, Mark Simmons is a brilliant one liner merchant. And with Strictly... season upon us, a special mention to Seann Walsh who certainly tickled our funny bones!
