Louise has been a member of the GB Athletics Team since the age of 17, and has competed at European, World, Commonwealth and Olympic Level, her career culminated in her achieving a Gold Medal in the Heptathlon at the Commonwealth Games in 2010.
Louise grew up in rural Cambridgeshire in a familyrun pub/hotel business and moved to the West Midlands in 2004 to study French at The University of Birmingham where she graduated in 2008. Sadly that year, she lost her father to heart disease and missed out on competing at the 2008 Olympics. Determined to overcome personal tragedy and adversity, Louise sought support from her local business community to sponsor her to reach the London 2012 Olympic Games. Needless to say she achieved it and along the way won the Commonwealth Gold Medal.  Since London 2012 she has become the Running Ambassador for The British Heart Foundation where she regularly attends fundraising events in order to help raise the profile of the charity.
Comfortable in front of any audience, Louise has addressed audiences from Panasonic, Mizuno, Jaguar, Visa, The Telegraph and Eurostar and has provided entertaining after-dinner speeches and Q&A's for city law firms, Sweatshop, The British Heart Foundation, Personal Career Management and The Lords Taverners.
