Viv Groskop is an award-winning comedian, author and TV presenter. In the corporate sector she is an executive performance coach, specialising in training senior women for advanced leadership roles.

Her latest book is How To Own The Room: Women And The Art Of Brilliant Speaking (November 2018) - the first book on public speaking aimed solely at women. The sister podcast HOW TO OWN THE ROOM featuring interviews on power and presence with women like Nigella Lawson, Mary Portas and Mary Beard reached Top 10 iTunes within two weeks of launch, was a Harper’s Bazaar Top 10 Podcast of 2018 and is a Radio 4 Extra Podcast Hour Pick.

She is a regular guest presenter on BBC1’s This Week (with Andrew Neil) and on BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Review and Front Row.

In 2019 she is presenting a new series on feminism for BBC Radio
3 and on Forgotten Women of the 20th Century for BBC Radio 4 Extra. Her
BBC Radio 4 play Read The Room, on the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, is out in April 2019. She has hosted book tours for Jo Brand, Graham Norton, Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French.

As a performer, she is known for her creative and ambitious five star sold-out Edinburgh Fringe shows Vivalicious (2018), Anchorwoman (2017), Be More Margo (2016) and Say Sorry to the Lady (2015). She is a veteran podcaster, hosting Dear Viv at The Pool for four years and Mint Velvet's We Are Women for three years (shortlisted for Podcast of the Year, Audio Production Awards 2017).

Viv is passionate about women achieving their potential, especially as public speakers. She delivers her keynotes with  her trademark authenticity and wit, covering themes from empowerment and diversity to the importance of female role models. She's also an excellent moderator.
