Tony Anderson



Tony is best known as the first marketing director of European low-cost airline Easyjet. He joined as its third employee and worked closely with founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou on developing and launching what has become one of the world's largest airlines and best-known travel brands.

Tony went on to become marketing director of easyGroup where he helped to develop and launch new buisnesses under the easy brand , including easyCar,easyBus and easyHotel which is among Europe's fastest growing hotel chains. He has held senior roles at British Airways, Thomas Cook and Tui. For more than ten years  Tony has lectured on the world-renowned MSc Marketing programme at Imperial college Buisness School and he has been involved with marketing and management education at UCL London, Fudan University Shanghai and Cambridge University's Judge Buisness School. He has spoken at events for some of the world's leading brands. Tony is a highly respected commentator on the buisness of aviation and has been interviewed by the BBC , CNN and other International news organizations.

Today, Tony is a member of the advisory board of Cambridge based start-up Faradair, a pioneering aerospace company currently developing a hybrid electric aircraft. He remains a consultant and advisor to easyGroup and easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou
