Sarah Cruddas is a space journalist, broadcaster and author. She is a global spokesperson and thought leader for commercial space exploration, a passion advocate for human exploration and a board member for the non-profit Space for Humanity, which aims to send ordinary citizens into space. She has an academic background in astrophysics and began her career as a Science Correspondent with the BBC.

Sarah works globally at the highest level to help enable and inspire interest and investment in space exploration. She has presented on stage with top level international business and thought leaders as well iconic space heroes including Buzz Aldrin, Tim Korpra and Tim Peake, leading NASA scientist and engineers, Silicon Valley investors and fund managers, commercial space leaders and well known entrepreneurs.

She has extensive experience hosting events at the highest level for large audiences which include military and political leaders, astronauts, high profile and high net worth individuals. Sarah is able to work discretely with top level clients.

On television Sarah can be seen across UK TV channels passionately making the case for space exploration. Channels she works with include BBC One, Sky News, BBC News, BBC World News, Good Morning Britain, ITV News, Channel 4 News, Channel 5 News, Discovery and National Geographic. On the radio she has presented shows about space on BBC Radio 4 and can be heard talking about space across various UK stations and BBC World Service as well as US stations.

Sarah writes extensively about space exploration and has an industry blog with the venture capital firm Space Angels Network. She is the author of two best selling children’s books published by Dorling Kindersley, with two further books scheduled for release in 2019. Her passion is to inspire everyone about why space matters and how this new commercial space race we are entering is shaping life here on Earth. She is also a strong advocate for women in STEM.

Sarah’s passion for communicating space extends to the silver screen working on the documentary’s Last Man on the Moon and Mission Control Movie. She also works within industry as an ambassador helping to tell stories about the innovations and technology which are enabling space exploration.

As comfortable talking with Prime Ministers as she is with school children, Sarah’s goal is to help shape our Space Future and inspire others about why space matters. Her enthusiasm and passion for her subject is infectious.
