Richard Bevan is Chief Executive of the League Managers' Association an organisation he joined on the 1st January 2008 after 11 very successful years as Chief Executive of the Professional Cricketers' Association. The LMA is the representative body of the 92 managers in the Premier League and Football League.
Richard is a prominent character in the world of sport and business. He was Chief Executive of the Professional Cricketers' Association up to the end of 2007. Richard was also a Director of the Federation of International Cricketers' Associations for seven years. He is also a Trustee of the Team England Player Partnership, a Director of the Professional Players' Federation (the umbrella body for all players' associations including the PFA, PGA, PRA, PCA and Jockeys' Association).
Richard grew up in Shropshire and lives in Manchester with his wife Suzanne, a Queens Counsel. He held an International Rally Driving License for six years and competed in three RAC Rallies. He windsurfed, played football and cricket to a high amateur standard and plays golf off a four handicap. Richard played football for 12 years for the Liverpool & Shropshire Ramblers & was the football coach at Concord College Shropshire from 1984 1987.
