Having finished school at the age of 18, Lara was expecting to attend University later that year.
But misfortune followed, and her father was declared bankrupt, as a result of this, Lara took it in her stride, and at the young age of 18 taught herself how to be successful in the sales industry. By 21, as her hard work began to pay off, Lara found herself managing sales teams in 6 different countries for the Yellow Pages.
Continuing her achievements, at the age of 23, Lara launched her first business, Pacific Direct Ltd, a company which sold and manufactured brand licensed toiletries and amenities to the hotel industry. In 2008, she sold 99% for the sum of £20million.
Lara is now mentoring, training and investing in businesses utilising her proven processes of frame working and practical advice to achieve enhanced growth.
Lara specialises and is passionate about Self and Employee Motivation, Leadership and Business Growth, she reflects upon her own experiences with these topics regularly at conferences and after dinner speeches.
Having been a finalist 3 times in Ernst and Young Entrepreneur award, as well as a finalist in the Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the Year award. Lara also gives a great deal of time as an ambassador for UKTI for export, and mentors a young entrepreneur with the start-up of WellHeeled.
