Gabby George is an accomplished England international defender and product of the United Women's Centre of Excellence, she began her football journey with Blackpool girls before joining Manchester United's Centre of Excellence.
In 2014, George made a significant move to Everton, debuting against Notts County in April of the same year. During her first season, she made 14 appearances and notably started in the Women's FA Cup final at just 17.
Her talent and dedication led to a historic moment in 2017 when she became Everton's first full-time professional player. George's impressive performances caught the attention of the England national team. Having represented her country at various youth levels, from Under-17s to Under-21s, she received her first senior call-up for the 2017 SheBelieves Cup. She made her full England debut in September 2017, contributing to a 6-0 World Cup qualifying victory over Kazakhstan.
Gabby continued to excel at Everton, earning the Women's Super League Player of the Month award in January 2023. On September 14, 2023, she returned to her roots, signing with Manchester United and rejoining her childhood club.
